qui a inspiré le WK Waï (le réalisateur) pour créer une des nombreuses affiches
de ce film sublime, j'ai opté, ci-dessous, pour un tryptique qui "éclate" la composition panoramique originale. Cela m'a amusé de penser que les trois tableaux du tryptique peuvent représenter également les trois phases par lesquels passe la relation entre Mme Chan et Mr Chow (la dernière phase étant représentée par le tableau de droite où il ne reste que la table de nuit et un bout de la veste de Mr Chow...souvenir et décor qui vont hanter Maggie dans la dernière partie du film...). Je serais curieux de voir cela en tableau en grande taille ... à la Jack Vettriano.

that has inspired WK Waï (the director) to design one of the numerous posters
of this sublime film, I have chosen, above, to go for a tryptique that blows the original wide composition. I found it also funny to think of the three pieces of the tryptique as representations of the three phases that have marked the relationship between Mme Chan et Mr Chow (the last phase being represented by the piece on the right where remains only the bed table and a piece of Mr Chow's vest...memories and decor that hanted Maggie during the last part of the film...). I would be curious to see this painted in a large size...à la Jack Vettriano.
